Where can you turn when you need medical help? The North by Northeast Community Health Center is a non-profit organization providing high-quality health care to uninsured, and Oregon Health Plan covered adults.
he mission of the North by Northeast Community Health Center is to advance health equity and improve health outcomes in a medically under-served community by offering health screening and basic medical services at no cost. Priority is given to African Americans and low-income neighborhood residents. The clinic provides basic care services and helps patients manage their health problems. There is no charge for services. The Oregon Prescription Card is available to all residents of Oregon. The card provides discounts on pharmacy purchases. This program can be used to supplement most health insurance plans including Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and High Deductible Plans. The card can also be used as a supplement to Medicare Part D by providing savings on non-covered drugs.
You do not have to fill out enrollment forms nor go through an eligibility process. There is no waiting period, and it covers pre-existing conditions and illnesses. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for single parents
There are people right here in Oregon that face hunger every day, children and adults. Fortunately, there are services designed to help. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides benefits to qualified, low-income individuals, single mothers and families. Benefits are distributed through the Electronic Benefit Transfer system by using an ‘Oregon Trail Card’ to purchase food.
An Oregon Trail Card is similar in use and appearance to a bank debit card.
SNAP is a Federally funded program that offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families. SNAP benefits are intended to be a supplement.
